It’s summer again, so the cameras are out in full force documenting our niche sport. Last week, Time Out New York came to interview & take photos for their “Urban Escapes” issue, which should come out this week. Incidentally, Ian from Richmond and Mark from Philly were up at the same time. Today, a photographer from The New Yorker took some action shots for their “Goings on About Town” section. There are only something like 6 photos in that entire magazine every issue, so it’s kind of a big deal that they’ve chosen to highlight us. After that photographer, who Quinn knew from her days at the magazine, was finished with his shoot, a student from the Travel Channel came by & documented our last, sweaty, violent game of the day for a possible pitch to the station. And tomorrow, when we’re playing in Brooklyn at Flushing & North Oxford, a camera crew from Channel One is going to be there. This is the same Channel One that you may remember from High School homeroom. Very wholesome and educational stuff. This is our chance to influence the youth of America.
